Welcome to iSpy!
To get started click on Add and select Local Camera on the top menu bar. Once you have added a camera or microphone you can click and drag to move them around or to resize.

- Face Detection: Trigger alerts when a face is detected instead of random movements, install the face detection plugin and select "Face Detection" in the Alert Mode dropdown in Edit Camera->Alerts
- PTZ Support: Press the middle mouse button on a camera and move the mouse to move the camera. If your camera doesn't support PTZ we'll do it digitally! Scroll the mouse wheel to zoom in or use the +/- or arrow keys.
- Record on Alert: Getting a lot of recordings? Change the record mode to "Record on Alert" instead and set the distinct alert interval to a few minutes
- Save to the Cloud: Ensure that your recordings are available by using our Dropbox, Google Drive and YouTube integration to backup your videos to the cloud. See Edit Camera->YouTube
- Remote Control: You can control pretty much everything remotely, including adding and removing cameras, PTZ and more through our website
- Use iSpy Server: Install iSpy Server (included and also free and open source) on other computers to access their USB cameras and Microphones remotely
- Pair record Microphones: Add a microphone to iSpy and then edit a camera and select the microphone in the drop-down to pair the two together - your video recordings will now have sound as well!
